Sunday Morning Worship
There are many opportunities to worship at the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church. Apart from our many
special services throughout the year, we offer two services on
Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
The two
services are identical in format. Both services are “blended worship services.” That is, they contain both traditional
and contemporary elements and the congregational singing ranges from great hymns throughout the ages to worship and
praise songs. Our exceptional choir sings at the 10:45 a.m. service for the first three Sundays of the month and on
the fourth Sunday sings at the 8:30 a.m. service.

We have been blessed with some extraordinarily gifted and talented singers as well as composers of original music
which set the mood for a truly moving worship experience.
Our husband/wife pastoral team usually take turns preaching and this affords the opportunity to hear both the male and female voice proclaim the word. The dynamic and thought provoking sermons usually last about 15 minutes with the entire service lasting about one hour.
