Regular Support Meetings in Manhattan
NYVIC offers support meetings - usually
bimonthly, on the first Sunday of the month in which we meet.

NOTE: Because of possible changes due to last
minute circumstances, you are urged to always check this page for
date/time confirmation on the day of the meeting.
Bring your questions and your concerns. You are not the first to
have them, and you can learn from others who have "been there" before you and
who now want to help and support your right to ask hard questions regarding your
children's health. Please join us. A minimum suggested contribution of $3 per adult goes
towards our continued rental of the space, but if this is a
hardship, give what you can.
The support meetings are hosted
at Realbirth, 54 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Ave.)
in Manhattan, on the 2nd floor. If you would like to attend, please, if
possible, give us a few day's notice by emailing
NYVIC to let us know you are coming.
NYVIC may not be able to continue these meetings.

Our new NYVIC support
meeting host, Realbirth, a continuation of the strong community support and education programs formerly offered through the Elizabeth Seton Childbearing Center, provides Childbirth Preparation, Breastfeeding and Newborn Care classes for the expectant mother and her support person.
They also provide a community of support, with many groups and activities for new parents and their babies during the transition to parenthood. Additional information can be found at
